The Board Supplies Budget shall be reauthorized into the Supplies and Maintenance Budget as described below. Conditional to the passing of this proposal, supplies already purchased by the Board under the existing definition of the Board Supplies Budget in the Fiscal Year 2017-2018 shall count toward the limit of the new proposal for the Fiscal Year 2017-2018.

The Board of Directors is authorized an annual Maintenance and Supplies Budget of $1000. The Budget's funds are intended for expenditures that support the day-to-day operation of the organization and benefit the Membership as a whole. The funds shall not be used to carry out major improvements/repairs or fund individual Member projects.

Members may propose expenditures under this Budget. The Board reserves the right to approve or deny any such proposal. All approved expenditures shall be announced to the Membership. The Treasurer shall keep a record of the Budget expenditures and must be able to produce this record upon request.

The Budget shall reset at the beginning of every fiscal year (August 1) and funds remaining at the end of a given fiscal year will not roll over into the following fiscal year. Should the Treasurer determine that continuing to spend the Budget's funds is imprudent, they may suspend expenditures for the remainder of the fiscal year.

The following examples of expenditures are permitted under the Budget:

  • Office supplies
  • Cleaning supplies
  • First aid supplies
