Basic Operation Checklist

  • On computer, open FlashPrint software. Load your 3d models for printing into the software. Add support if needed, and then slice/print the models with desired settings
  • Save your sliced model gcode file onto a USB thumb drive
  • Power on 3D printer and insert prepared USB thumb drive into port on right side of printer
  • Use the touch screen display to navigate to the print command and select your file from the SD card
  • Monitor the first couple layers of the print to ensure that there is good adhesion of the print to the build surface
  • Check printer periodically to ensure it is still successfully printing, if something is going wrong simply stop the print from the touch screen or if a faster response is needed hit the printer's power switch
  • When your part is finished printing you may peel your part off of the build plate. If it is stuck and you cannot pull it off by hand, gently use something like a paint scraper to pry the part off the build plate
  • Power down the printer when finished

Changing Filament

  • Power on the printer and use the touch screen navigation to select the setting for changing filament
  • Follow the on screen prompts as directed for when to pull the old filament out and when to insert the new filament

Bed Leveling

  • Power on the printer and use the touch screen navigation to select the setting for bed leveling
  • Follow the on screen prompts as directed for adjusting the thumb screws below the build plate
