FAQ

Why am I not seeing my own replies to the list sent back to me through the list?

You're probably using Gmail or Google Apps. Gmail handles mailing list traffic in a specific manner as a convenience, and does not show the message the mailing list sends back to you.

Administrative Tasks

Inviting New Members to sshc-members

If you have access to the List Administrator Password, you can send out an invitation to any new member signups. This task is currently handled manually.

  1. Navigate to http://sshchicago.org:8082/admin/sshc-members/members/add
  2. From "Subscribe these users now or invite them?" choose "Invite"
  3. Fill out the "Enter one address per line below..." with new email addresses to be added.
  4. Put any extra text you want to in the second box, it will be sent along with the invitation
  5. Mash that thar button that says "Submit Your Changes"
