Obtain a space

Prepare Space and Organization for prime time (Projected Spring 2013)

• Outfit the space - See Wishlist Outfitting as we go
• Raise ~3-6 months of savings by charging membership
• Raise money to cover start-up budget through fundraising

Create new mailing lists, one for the general public and at least one internal one for members only.

• Retire the current southsidehackers@googlegroups.com, or recycle it as the public list List stays public, for now
• Option - a separate mailing list for the Board a la PS1
• Option - decide what to do with our MailChimp account. We could retain it to send newsletters on a regular basis, for people who only want to hear from us once in a blue moon (vs the public list, which would be noise). Mailchimp abandoned for now

Make more solid decisions on how @sshchicago.org emails work.

Streamline use of Google products - G+, Drive, Email, Calendar

Delegate people to fill some important roles

• sysadmin - for the VPS and later internal hardware Chris
• public relations - for managing social media accounts, the newsletter and fielding direct questions to us Jessica
• web designer - someone to make a pretty website and maintain it Chris A.
