Background
Our router table was a donor. It contains a not terrible lift, and either had a router, or we put one in.
The lift is not perfect. The router is underpowered, and now the collet is both bad at holding bits, and apparently quite difficult to remove bits from.
Proposal Text
This proposal is suggesting the following:
- Replace the lift with a lift capable of holding a motor, and operating better.
- Obtain a router motor [not a router]
- Obtain a collet reducer [1/2" to 1/4", to support existing bits]
- Combine the above, and drop them into the existing router table, in place of the existing toolset
