Our Ridgid band saw was one of our most useful tools, but now it's forever broken. Erin thinks we'd be better off buying a 17" band saw in the 2hp range. She and I discussed whether we could afford that. Her hypothesis is that we could buy one with the hackerspace covering $650 (the cost of a 14" band saw, and members making up the difference. )

Authorize the Board of Directors reimburse member Erin Scanlon $664 toward the purchase of a wood-cutting band saw, 17" or larger, with a 2hp or greater motor. Authorization expires 6 months after the vote is accepted.
