Hackerspace Wishlist

Lists of things we want from our future property and items/amenities we want to see in our space. ***Let's try to keep these lists arranged in order from most important to least important/optional.***

Property requirements

• good zoning
• C2 - Motor Vehicle-Related Commercial District? I am not sure how zoning laws work and how they relate to us. - Dmitriy
• bathroom
• 220v, possibly 480v electrical (depending on what kinds of heavy-duty we may bring in/get donated)
• proximity to mass transit (4 blocks)
• all members can 24 hour access
• This will either be physical keys for every member or [a computer-assisted doorlock system](http://hackerspaces.org/wiki/Doorlock). One potential future member has the desire to develop a RFID/NFC implementation. - Dmitriy
• running water
• refrigerator
• kitchen (or hook-up for gas/water/electricity to build a kitchen later)
• shower
• natural light
• at least two separate spaces rooms (so, for instance, some can work while a class is going on)

Non-Tool Supplies wishlist

• eyewash station
• fire extinguishers like crazy
• lockers that hold a reprap
• desk space desk space desk space
• couches, tables, "hacker" magazines for loungin'
