Lists of things we want to see in our space. Let's try to keep these lists arranged in order from most important to least important/optional.
Space Amenities
Things that are built into the property and cannot easily be changed/added
- bathroom(s)
- 24 hour access - either by physical keys for every member, RFID cards (expensive) or a DIY doorlock system
- running water - access to a sink, maybe a shower
- proper ventilation
- natural light
- ability to divide the space up into rooms
- reliable Internet connection
Common Objects
General things we can add to the space
- eyewash station
- fire extinguishers like crazy
- lockers that hold a reprap
- desk space desk space desk space
- couches, tables, "hacker" magazines for loungin'
- refrigerator
- kitchen (or hook-up for gas/water/electricity to build a kitchen later)
Tools and Hacking-Specific
Stuff that lets us get down to business
- assortment of mechanic's tools - wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, etc
- power tools
